The Desert is not just B&W
Color in the desert is hiding in plain sight, equally evident in the native flora but also in imported plants that have become at home in our daily environment. It is hard to understand how this richness could be overlooked, as it is there at every point of focus from the grand vistas to details found underfoot. This initial selection of images was taken in the spring and summer, but every season in Arizona has its own character and photo opportunities. As the year winds on, I plan to add to this collection with autumn and winter colors.
